I didn't know what would change within me when I first learnt how to do badass crow pose, I wasn't focused on the internal shift: I just badly wanted to do crow pose. But, it changed me forever. It irrevocably shifted a mental block I had had and I finally knew without a shadow of a doubt that I could achieve anything I wanted in life. Anything.
It truly not only transformed my yoga practice, but it transformed me as a person. It unleashed my warrior-like confidence: my inner Boudicca.
My relationships. My confidence. My capacity for self-compassion. My sense of resilience and fortitude. Transformed.
You are here because you too have always wanted to have this unwavering sense of self-belief, a warrior-like confidence. You may have tried self-help books, you practice safe-in-my-comfort-zone yoga, but they haven't shifted those negative self-limiting beliefs. You're self-limiting beliefs have held you back in so many way: your relationships, career, personal development and on the yoga mat.
Let's be honest, really, deep down you have two voices: one which believes you can do it, the other that doubts your ability? "I'm not at that level" "I'm not skinny" " I'm not flexible" "That pose looks insane, its impossible..."I don't have time.." It's time to kick that second voice to the kerb. Take some time to invest in yourself and only for 30 minutes a day so you too will have unwavering belief in yourself forever thereafter. Impossible is nothing (Ali)
Let's kickass badass crow pose together and make that life-changing transformation.
All in the space of your own sacred home.

Warrior-like self-confidence off the mat
Once you feel like you can achieve such badass poses on the mat, what is stopping you from doing the same off the mat? There is nothing more that you need to convince own self that you are capable. Nada. Nothing. I say it again. Nada
Sense of achievement
We need determination, discipline and perseverance to achieve badass crow pose. The thrill of flying crow will not only make you feel proud of achieving the pose, but also of being willing to put in the work to get there.
Vanquish the perils of perfectionism
For badass Crow pose you have to accept that you will fall again and again. You can’t get it right the first time no matter how much you want to. But. But. But. You still make it. You still get to fly. You have now successfully and forever trained your brain that it’s only through the willingness to fall and fail, that you can rise and fly.
Challenge your self-limiting beliefs
We all have beliefs that hold us back: “ there is no way I can do that’ “It’s not physically possible for me!” This says more about the lack of faith we have in ourselves than what we are actually capable of. The God-given machinery we have is capable of so much more. Challenge your limited beliefs. Grasp what you are totally capable of.
Your ability to face your fear
Do you fear failure? Are you afraid of trusting others or yourself? Are you afraid of falling and hurting yourself on the mat? When fear arises on the mat, it may be symbolic of your fear of opening up emotionally or your unwillingness to face obstacles. Learning badass crow pose gives you the challenge and opportunity to step out of your comfort zone, and to have trust and faith in yourself.
Testimonials
I loved this course! I have been practicing yoga and I really wanted to see if I take my practice up a notch, but, honestly, I really didn’t think it was possible for me. I love the way Shabana broke it down and made me understand what was necessary. The first time I was able to lift my feet-wow!- that was just amazing! Thanks Shabana- please create some more courses for other advanced yoga poses!

I'd been doing yoga on/off but never seriously. The fear part of it really resonated with me as I usually like to stay in my comfort zone so this was new thing for me. It really does make you feel your fear especially when you lean forward and you think "yikes, Im gonna fall". Scary stuff. But I worked through it and Shabana does have a way of making you also feel totally really relaxed. I tried a practice every few days as work is so busy and I was able to do it. It's my new party trick and my friends are keen to learn too. Totally agree that it really gives you that boost of confidence. Love, love, love it!

This has totally transformed my practice! Thank you Shabana!

I didn't quite understand Shabana when she said it will give up a tonne of confidence off the mat, but it really truly did for me. It gave me this sense of a secret power I had wherever I went! I know that sounds really silly, but it was just this sense of confidence, that I could do things if I put my mind to it. Before, I read a lot of self-help books especially on self-esteem but I just couldn't shift some thoughts. How could I if i had nothing to prove to myself of my own ability? Since learning this pose, I definitely feel like I can achieve whatever I want. I'm so grateful.

#Unleash your inner Boudicca
Shabana is the founder of #UnleashYourInnerBoudicca. She doesn't believe in chasing happiness. She believes- like the character she is inspired by Boudicca- we should embrace all emotions and channel them to change our kingdom, and that will ultimately make us happier.
She is based in the UK though she is proudly Kashmiri where her parents are originally from. She has been a history teacher, and practicing yoga for over ten years, trained in Nepal on the foothills of Kathmandu. She has lived and worked in China, Morocco and Bahrain. She also gained a Masters in Education from the University of Oxford and has successfully applied the principles to ensure learn yoga and well-being is fun, educational and caters to all levels.
She believes authentic self-confidence is nuanced and comes from finding that edge of your comfort-zone and exploring it through yoga, prayer and well-being. She absolutely believes in the power of small acts.
She subscribes to Patanjali's view that outer change leads to inner change; that it is in fact much more effective and more permanent than the navel-gazing approach popular today. Patanjali believed that physical asana (yoga) can help ease the pressure in the mind and is much more accessible and powerful than meditation on its own.
Her instructions are clear and sprinkled with humour and love. Whilst she believes in the meditative aspect of yoga, she is also a big believer that the way to healthier and happier life is through laughter, self-love and acceptance and a living a life which is of service to others.
Love for one and all.
